When Masters joined Jasper's investigation team, it was discovered that another investigator had gone missing four months prior and his case was put on hold. The primary issue at hand was determining which members of the team could be relied upon. Seeking to unravel the mystery, Masters contacted the missing investigator's sister, Elizabeth, in search of answers.

Ever since the last time she had spoken to her brother, Elizabeth had been desperately seeking answers regarding his disappearance. Despite the lack of leads, tips, or any trace of him, the case had hit a dead end. It seemed to Elizabeth that her brother's vanishing act had gone unnoticed by the world.
